Bread Upma

Bread Upma

Upma is a dish from the Indian subcontinent, most common in South Indian, Maharashtrian, and Sri Lankan Tamil breakfast.

Bread Upma is a very simple, easy to make and a tasty snack which can also be served in a breakfast or as an evening snacks. It is normally made with the white bread and it goes very well with Indian Tea (Chai).

I firstly had this snack in Pune where I started my first job and I liked it a lot. My husband and me, we started job together, at that time we were colleagues. Once after marriage I told him that I like bread upma a lot and want to have it. He tried and it came out super delicious and this is how I learned this from my husband.

He is a great, an amazing cook. I just love everything he cooks. We both are foodies and tried many dishes together.

My family also liked this snack a lot and we normally cook this in breakfast on weekends. Now it's added in our breakfast list.
